I'm a software support analyst and a student.
I'm learning to design and code responsive, user-friendly websites and apps.
I like clean, empathetic, accessible, research-driven designs.
Skills: requirements, user research, wireframing, process mapping, websites, web and mobile applications.
I can develop from scratch or build on an existing site or template.
Clear, concise and informative design.
Media: print, web, social media.
I've been working in the tech industry for 13 years, and in customer and client-facing roles for 15 years. Customer and client-facing roles gave me the ability to see things from their perspective. To advocate for the customer and client. To understand their struggles, issues and needs.
I'm currently working a multi-faceted role at a startup in Washington, DC. My role includes NOC/SaaS platform analysis and administration, direct client and 3PL software support analysis, as well as supporting roles for DevOps, product development and engineering and client solutions and implementations teams.
My goal is to take this experience and turn it into a role working as a UX/UI designer or engineer or as a systems analyst. I am currently finishing a bachelor of science degree from Arizona State University in the Technical Communication-User Experience program, with a minor in Applied Business Data Analytics.
